Fantastic sound and quality at very competitive pr
Awesome sound quality for minimal effort. This Nakamichi soundbar kít with the wireless subwoofer and rear surround speakers sounds fantastic. Whereas I was getting “tinny” sound from my tv’s speakers before, I’m now getting surround sound with booming bass and clear voice when watching movies. This system has really made my movie watching experience so much more enjoyable than before…and all at a fraction of competitor brands and so much less effort than running a traditional wired surround AV system.

Amazing Soundbar system!
The Nakamichi is an awesome surround sound soundbar system. I upgraded solely for the eARC functionality but was surprised the new model had a bigger sub. The bass kicks! It's a down firing sub and you can really feel it underneath your feet and shaking the walls. Sound clarity is also amazing. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and I recommend the Nakamichi to anyone looking for something that doesn't take up a lot of space yet packs a punch!

Nice System
Easy to set up, plenty of options to create great sound. Comes with connection cables for any setup you want. Remote was a little confusing at the beginning but the user manual helps sort it out. Good surround speakers and the base can rattle your windows. Nakamichi’s customer service is very helpful and prompt. This is a real nice system and we are happy with it.

True awesome name brand anyone can trust.
This is by far the best sound bar I have purchased. The sound quality is above my expectation. It has plenty of features, including clear voice, tons of bass, a subwoofer that never goes out or pops like my Vizio did. I am truly enjoying the Dolby Atmos also that is on this. Another plus that I will point out is the very easy to use remote...Nakamichi is by far my favorite brand, and I look forward to Buy more items from them in the future.

This is NOT your average soundbar!
I’ve had this amazing Nakamichi soundbar for a few months now, and for the money I spent, nothing I’ve had comes close! Sound cones at you from every direction, clear and loud, filling up the room wonderfully, particularly when a Dolby Atmos signal is playing. The subwoofer is just insane, but the large remote gives you the ability to control it, and whatever else, wuickly and easily. I went from a typical receiver and multi speaker combo to using just the Nakamichi for everything and I’ve not looked back! Buy it. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing sound system on a budget
This soundbar system is for real! Booming, room shaking bass from a single subwoofer. The surround speakers create spacious, immersive sound with Atmos. Technology sure has come a long way in the last 25 years, from when I built my first 5.1 system out of separate components. Now you can get 7.1.4 in a convenient box!

An Audio Experience Beyond Comparison!
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Nakamachi 7.1.4 home theater system, and I am utterly blown away. Before this, I had considered other big names like Samsung and Klipsch, but they don't even come close to Nakamachi's superior quality. I even purchased a Samsung 600 series system before, only to be disappointed and had to return it promptly. The bass from the Nakamachi system is absolutely mind-blowing. The speakers envelop you in such a manner that you genuinely feel you're sitting in a high-end cinema.

I thought I had the best soundbar until I listened to Nakamichi soundbar, it blows way Samsung which I previously owned. It's true surround sound system, you can hear everything when you watch 4K movies. Dialog is clear and concise. Nakamichi’s newly designed 10" subwoofer delivers intense, powerful low frequencies.

An Absolute Game Changer
The Nakamichi Shockwave 7.1.4 is an absolute game changer. Not only it was very easy to set up, but it sounds really awesome even without adjustments. Once you do a couple of adjustments to accommodate your setup, OMG...It just sounds awesome...If the Shockwave 7.1.4 sounds this good, I can only imagine how the new Nakamichi Dragon will be...

Superb sound experience!
I don’t always write reviews, but when I do, I am super impressed with the product. I chose this system after a careful evaluation of a few Dolby Atmos compatible surround systems in the market. It is very easy to plug and play...Overall sound quality and clarity are amazing. It gives very good cinematic feel at home.

This is such a great system. We got it to replace a 12 year old Home-theater-in-a-box system and from the get go we were impressed...the sound quality is AMAZING. The settings are very easy to use, the sub pumps out the bass like CRAZY, and the bluetooth setup works perfectly for our small living room. And since all of our devices run through the sound bar as opposed to how our older system worked, the PICTURE quality has dramatically increased as well. VERY glad we got the Shockwave Pro system!

Great Surround Sound
The system was easy to set up and provides lots of options to match to your listening style. Center channel provides crystal clear dialogue and the 10” bass subwoofer and surround speakers pair well for a total listening experience. Not only is this system great at TV and streaming movie content but it also provides an awesome music listening experience. I think this system provides great quality and value and will satisfy the most discriminating listener.

Premium sound for a good price
It sounds great and the remote let's you tune the sound to your liking, so many settings! Unlike most other that give you little control. It gets loud enough for a big room, the speech is very clear! Bass is very good ! when playing very very loud. For normal use it is perfect, the rumble feels the room with no problem.

Outstanding system
Truly a transformational sound experience. 300W of subwoofer power that you can actually feel. True, superior surround sound and sound bar performance. A backlit remote with several EQ and separate channel volume adjustments. I love everything about this system. Packaging and installation were extremely straightforward and the user manual is well done.

I've got a Klipsch Bar 48, I purchased a few years ago. I love that soundbar - UNTIL I PURChaSED THE NAKAMICHI - Shockwafe 7.1.4 - MANN - The Nakamichi is is the best soundbar I own now. Sounds coming from all over the place - and the BAss IS GREAT! And the remote - is the best. YOU CAN CONTROL the sound in every detail with the remote!!!

Amazing sound!
The sound is AMAZING! I hear so much detail with the up-firing speakers and the bass is just right. I like that I can control the level of all the speakers. I just watched 2023 Avatar and Mandolorian. I have a new 77" Sony OLED. I'm happy to have donated my 55" Samsung and 1st Generation 7 channel Onkyo system. I now have true home theater! I can't wait for our 11yr old grandson to come visit and watch movies with me.

Wow, I ordered this soundbar with minimal expectations...However with that said, I have been in search of a really good soundbar system after running with what I thought good of several years. The Shockwave 7.1.4 was exactly what I was looking for, great sound all around, great highs, punchy base and perfect sound for the bedroom (12x18ft). The sound fills the room around our 65" Samsung OLED, between the 2 a perfect movie experience...
